MANNOL is building on its international GT3 programme in 2027

Following a successful 2026 motorsport season, MANNOL and Grupo Prom Racing Team will continue their partnership next year. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the striking full MANNOL livery will once again contest in the International GT Open, amongst other series, in 2027. A new addition is the Italian GT Championship with planned entries in both the Sprint and Endurance series. The racing programme will strengthen MANNOL's presence in European GT3 motorsport and advance the long-term development of its international brand strategy.

  • Partnership extended: MANNOL and Grupo Prom Racing will continue their collaboration in 2027 and expand their racing programme to include the Italian GT Championship
  • 2026 racing results: four Am-class podiums in the International GT Open as well as international racing appearances in the GT World Challenge Europe
  • Strategic expansion: MANNOL is using GT3 motorsport as a platform for international brand presence and collaboration with business partners

Updated racing programme for 2027

The continuation of the partnership builds on a successful season together. With the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in MANNOL livery, Grupo Prom Racing will once again be competing in several European racing series in 2027.

As in the previous year, the GEDLICH Racing GT Winter Series will kick off the season, with the team competing in two races in Spain. From April 2027, Grupo Prom Racing will then compete in the International GT Open as well as, as a new venture, in the Italian GT Championship, with races planned for both the sprint and endurance series.

With its racing programme, MANNOL is opening up additional opportunities to showcase the brand in key European automotive markets and to strengthen direct engagement with customers, sales partners and motorsport enthusiasts.

A first glimpse of this new venture already came during a guest appearance at the season finale of the Italian GT Championship, which took place last weekend at Mugello. Alfredo Hernández and Hubert Haupt competed there together in the Mercedes-AMG GT3, featuring the MANNOL livery. This outing served as an initial, sporting stepping stone towards the planned 2027 programme.

Four podium finishes and international racing experience in 2026

MANNOL and Grupo Prom Racing achieved impressive results in their very first season together. In the International GT Open, the team secured four Am-class podium finishes.

Alfredo Hernández took third place at the season opener at Circuit Paul Ricard, before adding another third place and a second place at Hockenheim. At the 500-kilometre race in Monza, Hernández and Stéphane Tribaudini continued the run of success with another second place in the Am class.

In addition, the team also competed in the Endurance Cup of GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS, with the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa – one of the most prestigious endurance races in international GT3 motorsport – being one of the highlights.

The results reflect the team’s sporting progress and provide a solid foundation for continuing the partnership.

Motorsport as an integral part of the international brand strategy

For MANNOL, its involvement in GT3 racing is a long-term component of its brand communication. International motorsport combines sophisticated vehicle technology, sporting competition, and a strong emotional connection between spectators and the participating brands.

At the same time, a presence on European race tracks opens up additional opportunities for collaboration with retail partners, distributors and business customers. Racing events create an environment in which technical expertise, personal contacts and international brand presence can be brought together.

Even off the racetrack, the vehicle in the MANNOL livery is deployed strategically – for example, at Automechanika 2026 in Frankfurt. There, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 formed part of the exhibition stand and allowed international trade visitors to experience the brand’s motorsport involvement first-hand.

Statements on the continuation of the partnership

Konstantin Gaab, Managing Director of Sudheimer Car Technik-Vertriebs GmbH:

‘For MANNOL, motorsport is a key component of our international brand strategy. The GT3 racing series combine sophisticated vehicle technology, professional competition and a strong presence in markets that are of particular importance to our company.

Our collaboration with Grupo Prom Racing has developed very positively during the 2026 season, both in sporting terms and in terms of our brand presence. By extending our partnership and adding our involvement in the Italian GT Championship, we are systematically expanding this presence further.

Our aim is not solely to achieve visibility on the racetrack. We also want to use motorsport as a platform to further strengthen our relationships with international distribution partners and customers, and to position the MANNOL brand firmly within the performance-oriented automotive sector.’

Alfredo Hernández, Grupo Prom Racing:
‘We kept improving throughout the season and the four podium finishes in the GT Open showed what our package is capable of. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 in MANNOL livery has become a real trademark for us. In 2027, we want to build on that and fight for strong results in both the GT Open and the Italian GT.’
