MANNOL Expands Partnership With Grupo Prom Racing Team: Full-Livery Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe
MANNOL is expanding its involvement in international GT racing. The lubricant manufacturer is continuing its successful partnership with Grupo Prom Racing and will also support the team in the upcoming GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS. As in the current GT Winter Series season, a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO in MANNOL’s striking livery will once again be competing.
A total of five races is on the programme in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. The MANNOL Mercedes-AMG GT3 with start number #177 will be competing for points and placings in the Bronze classification. Alfredo Hernández (MEX), Stéphane Tribaudini (FRA) and Ralf Aron (EST) will take turns at the wheel. The season kicks off with the six-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11/12 April, followed by the 3 Hours of Monza on 30/31 May. The undisputed highlight of the season is the legendary 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (25–28 June) with over 70 starters – the largest GT3 event in the world. The series then moves on to the Nürburgring (29/30 August) and travels to Portimão for the finale (17/18 October).
For MANNOL, expanding the partnership is the next logical step in positioning the brand in an even larger and more international motorsport environment. The GT World Challenge Europe is considered the toughest GT3 championship and is known for action-packed races featuring leading drivers, teams and manufacturers. The series’ Endurance Cup offers the perfect platform to demonstrate and further develop the performance of MANNOL lubricant technologies in continuous use and under the toughest racing conditions.
