MANNOL TBN Booster is a premium additive designed to enhance the Total Base Number (TBN) of diesel and petrol engine oils. This powerful formulation is essential for maintaining optimal engine performance and longevity by increasing the oil’s alkalinity, effectively neutralising harmful acids and preventing corrosion.   Its unique formula allows engine oil to be used for the full oil chnage interval recommended in the engine manual, even when high-sulphur fuels are in use.   For example, in regions where diesel fuel contains high sulphur levels, MANNOL TBN Booster preserves the protective properties of the oil, ensuring reliable operation and extended engine life without the need to shorten service intervals.   It is recommended for use in Euro V engines as well as previous engine models of various manufacturers, including Asian brands.

MANNOL TBN Booster is not applicable to engines equipped with various types of exhaust aftertreatment systems, such as diesel particulate filters (DPF).

Dosage Instructions:

·     For fuels with sulphur content of 50–500 ppm: Add 2 % of MANNOL TBN Booster to the oil. Adding 2 % of the additive increases the Total Base Number of the oil by 4 mg KOH/g.

·     For fuels with sulphur content of more than 500 ppm: Add 4 % of MANNOL TBN Booster to the oil.
